Podcast: Win@Work – Fighting for the Attention of Talent
To put it simply, diversity matters. But don’t just take our word for it, let’s look at the stats.
New Research makes it crystal clear that companies with a more diverse workforce perform better financially. In fact, companies in the top 25% for gender and ethnic diversity at the executive level are more likely to have above-average profitability than companies in the bottom 25%. In short, having more diverse female executives equates to bigger share price gains, stronger revenue growth and higher profits—period. The stats don’t lie.
So, why aren’t we seeing more companies embracing it? We know that top-down leadership initiatives just aren’t enough. We need an array of voices from various backgrounds, body types, races, and genders to contribute to the conversation if we want to push the culture forward. But it’s not enough to just listen and learn. We have to take action because there is real power in inclusion.
On this episode, The Guru of Tech Sourcing & the “go-to” person for Sourcing in Africa, Vanessa Raath, shares how she leveraged years of experience working in the recruitment industry, Sharing her knowledge & running her own business where she trains both internal and agency Recruiters, across the globe, to source Top Talent more efficiently and effectively than their competitors.
